Frequently asked questions

How do I start a fast?

Open Noxe and tap the large start button on the home screen. If this is your first time, you'll be asked to choose a fasting protocol (like 16:8 or 18:6). Once selected, tap to begin and the timer will start counting. You can pause, resume, or stop your fast at any time.

What do the fasting stages mean?

The metabolic body timeline shows approximate stages your body goes through while fasting: Fed (0-4h), Early Fasting (4-8h), Fat Burning (8-12h), Ketosis (12-16h), Deep Ketosis (16-24h), Autophagy (24-48h), and Deep Autophagy (48h+). These are based on general scientific literature and are for informational purposes only. Individual results vary.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your Noxe Premium subscription:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find Noxe and tap it
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You can also manage your subscription directly from Apple: Manage Subscriptions.

Your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period. If you purchased the lifetime option, there is nothing to cancel — it's yours forever.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device?

Yes. Open Noxe, go to the Premium screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your premium features will be restored automatically.

How do I change my fasting protocol?

You can change your fasting protocol anytime from the home screen by tapping the protocol selector. Choose from 14:10, 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, or create a Custom schedule. Changing your protocol won't affect your existing fasting history.

Is my data backed up?

By default, your data is stored locally on your device. Premium users can enable CloudKit sync, which backs up your data to your personal iCloud account and syncs it across your Apple devices. Without CloudKit sync, deleting the app will delete your data.

Does Noxe work with Apple Watch?

Yes. Noxe includes an Apple Watch companion app that shows your active fast timer, current fasting stage, and lets you start or stop fasts from your wrist. The watch app syncs automatically with the iPhone app.

What languages does Noxe support?

Noxe is available in 7 languages: English, German (Deutsch), Spanish (Espanol), French (Francais), Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese (Brazil). The app automatically uses your device's language setting.
